A tool that lets people carry out banking transactions from any social network
São Paulo, September 23, 2021 – BV, one of the largest private banks in Brazil, announces the release of “Atalho BV”, a ground-breaking financial tool that opens a keyboard on cell phones with an exclusive button allowing financial transactions without leaving messaging apps and social networks.
Developed in partnership with Israeli fintech PayKey, “Atalho BV” allows BV customers to make money transfers, check their balances and statements, pay credit card bills, make transactions and bill payments through PIX (the Brazilian instant payment system).
“The tool features security layers in the BV environment that help the customer use the service in any textual interaction, not just social media. We know that Brazilians spend over nine hours connected per day, and we want banking transactions to be performed in a simple and secure way,” explains Marcos Barros, Director of Digital Products and Business at Banco BV.
To activate the keyboard, the user needs to access the BV app and select the “Atalho BV” option in the “My Profile” menu to begin the activation process. The service is available for Android phones and is coming soon for the iOS operating system.
“The launch of “Atalho BV” marks a great milestone for BV customers who can enjoy a new instant way to engage with the banking services they need in the flow of their daily lives. We’re thrilled to partner with a pioneering bank like BV, whose innovation redefined the banking experience as a key embedded banking player in Brazil.” said Sheila Kagan CEO of PayKey.
